Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse is a comprehensive and dynamic program of treatment for people with severe and persistent brain injury.  Our treatment focuses on the strengths and abilities of our members, not their illness. As a clubhouse, we are unique in such that we are not a clinical program, meaning there are no therapists or psychiatrists on staff.  Additionally, all participation in our clubhouse is strictly on a voluntary basis.

Our members and staff work side by side to manage all operations of the clubhouse, providing an opportunity for members to contribute in signifigant and meaningful ways.  SBSC is run 'by members, for the members.'  This environment of support, acceptance and commitment fosters the potential contribution and success of each individual.  Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse is a place where people can belong as contributing adults, rather than passing their time as patients who need to be treated.  We seek to demonstrate that people with brain injury can successfully live productive lives and work in the community.
