Our Mission
Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse is a bridge of support for a person with brain injury to transition from medical patient to contributing community member.
Our Vision
We envision a world where people living with brain injuries have access to medical, physical, social, financial and vocational resources in order to have the best possible quality of life.
Our Philosophy
A community based, voluntary, member-directed program which builds on strengths to optimize social, financial and vocational success of members and guarantees their rights to meaningful work and a place to return. Members and staff work side by side to accomplish measurable goals and keep the clubhouse going.
An advocacy organization using community involvement, education and research to guarantee the opportunity for all people with brain injury to lead a quality life.
A financially sound business which consistently meets or exceeds local and international accreditation standards and has the resources to meet the members’ programmatic needs in a competent, safe and effective manner.

A CARF Three-Year Accreditation was awarded to Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse in Community Services: Community Integration, Governance Standards Applied.
This is the first accreditation that the international accrediting body has awarded to Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse. This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
