Sr. Rehabilitation Counselor

Judy Wissing is a Certified Senior Rehabilitation Counselor and Certified Brain Injury Specialist. In her roles at Clubhouse she helps potential members explore if Clubhouse is the right match for them, helps members work towards their employment goals, supports Clubhouse members to volunteer in the community, provides life skills training and provides ongoing support to members and their families/caregivers.

Judy is originally from Atlanta, GA and completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Georgia State University. She has been working in the field of brain injury for more than 25 years. Her passion is walking alongside individuals (not leading them) on their journey and supporting them to live their very best lives. She sees equal value in maintaining current skills and abilities as well as promoting new skill development. She has a deep belief that given time and support all people learn, grow and will fulfill their purpose in life. 

Judy and her husband live on a small farm where she gets to enjoy nature, plays with horses, dogs and cats, and loves spending time with her three adult children and their families. Reading, hiking, traveling and horseback riding are her hobbies.
