Laura believes every individual has a story worth telling and that taking the time to truly get to know someone often leads to unexpected moments of understanding and connection. Originally from Florida’s Tampa Bay Area, Laura moved to Atlanta, GA after earning an English degree from Florida State University. She has over three years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, event management, board engagement, and marketing. At Side by Side, she fosters community partnerships that create meaningful contributions to the lives of individuals and families impacted by brain injury.
Passionate about community building and helping others thrive, Laura is inspired daily by the resilience, compassion, and determination of the men and women who come to Side by Side seeking purpose and fellowship. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
