Paige Wheeler, Esq

Attorney Paige Wheeler describes herself as “from Georgia, mostly,” thought she moved around between Chicago, the Atlanta area and Tampa before landing in Forsyth County for middle and high school. At Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Herbert Law Center, Paige pursued personal injury, knowing it would be a great way for her to have a positive influence on the lives of others.

A serious car accident in high school had left Paige in a coma with a traumatic brain injury. She spent two months at Atlanta’s Shepherd Center learning to walk, talk and eat again. “I’ve seen the repercussions my accident had on my family,” she said. “I have that personal insight, and it’s really encouraged me and pushed me to give my clients a personalized experience. To make sure they don’t just feel better but recover, too.”

At Litner + Deganian, Paige found a place for her service-centered mindset and hopes to specialize in traumatic brain injury cases—some of the most medically and legally complex cases a personal injury attorney will handle. “After my own crash, I was told I’d never walk again, and that I wouldn’t be able to graduate high school or attend college,” she said. “I knew I could, and I want to help clients who are going through similarly challenging situations.”

Outside of work, Paige, a newlywed, spends time with her husband and her cat, Rupert. You’ll find her relaxing in her garden or cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs or the Atlanta Braves.
