Patrick Medley, Sr.

Patrick Medley, Sr. is a native of High Point, NC. Before and after earning an undergraduate degree in Human Relations from High Point University and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from Georgia State University, he committed himself to a life of service. Patrick's professional career has spanned over three decades.
Notable service experience includes but is not limited to the Institute for Family Centered Services in Richmond, VA, The YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and The Boys & Girls Clubs in High Point, NC. Patrick also served in administrative roles with Boys & Girls Clubs and Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School in Atlanta. Accomplishments and Awards along the journey include being named Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities, High Point Housing Authority Pillar of Fame winner, Outstanding Graduate Certificate Student at Georgia State University, and the first basketball player to earn a Division 1 Scholarship in 25 years from High Point, NC.
Patrick is a believer in lifelong learning via experience and observation. Patrick and his wife, Alesia, are enjoying an empty nest after raising four children. One of Patrick's biggest passions is community advocacy. Having been a resident of District 4 in DeKalb County over two decades he has been consistently active with county commissioners and public officials. Patrick loves serving as part of the very unique and awesome community of Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse.
