Sue Dunlap is a seasoned human resources executive and strategic advisor with deep experience supporting growth-stage, private-equity-backed, and multi-site organizations. She built her career in complex, highly regulated environments—where she has led HR teams through rapid growth, mergers and acquisitions, and large-scale organizational transformation.

After earning her MBA from Georgia State University, Sue held senior HR leadership roles across a range of organizations, overseeing talent strategy, compensation and job architecture, and culture transformation initiatives. Her work has consistently focused on aligning people strategy with business outcomes while building scalable, sustainable HR infrastructure.

 In 2024, Sue founded Hitch HR Services, a boutique HR consulting firm providing fractional, interim, and project-based HR support to organizations navigating growth, change, and complexity. Through Hitch HR, she partners closely with executives and leadership teams to strengthen people operations, develop leaders, and pull organizations forward with clarity and care.

 Sue is passionate about creating workplaces where both people and businesses can thrive. She lives in Atlanta with her two sons and enjoys spending time with family, staying active in the local business community, and supporting organizations with purpose-driven missions.

 Sue is deeply aligned with Side by Side’s mission of providing safe, affirming spaces for individuals to find connection, belonging, and meaning. She is drawn to organizations that lead with compassion and intentionality and is committed to contributing her experience to help Side by Side continue to grow and serve its community sustainably.
